Cooper Dalton
Cooper Dalton joined Garrett & Moore, Inc. in October 2025 as our staff Environmental Scientist. Since earning his Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Environmental Biology from Appalachia State, Cooper has gained experience with geotechnical sampling and testing, CQA on landfill construction projects, and more. For Garrett & Moore, Cooper will support our engineering team across our projects, while working toward his Masters in Environmental Engineering at NC State with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026.

Outside the office, Cooper lives in North Raleigh with his fiancée Marissa and their dog Rhodo. An avid fly fisherman, he especially enjoys casting for native trout in the North Carolina mountains. You’ll often find him exploring local trails, catching live shows at Kings, Neptunes, or The Pour House, or behind a drum kit—he’s been a drummer since high school and loves to play with friends (and anyone willing to jam).
